Got a new RVP 50 roll, I can't wait and go to the Ma Wan Park downstairs and test it... WOW... This kind of color saturation... is never come from any DSLR...

Of course, the bird village is also very beautiful~~

I feel so happy after taking these photos. The sunset is so beautiful that it is hardly forget.

Thanks for reading. Enjoy!

RVP 100 @ Noah's Ark

Noah's Ark is one of the best place to take pictures for the Tsing Ma bridge, one of the landmark in Hong Kong. This time I'll use the RVP 100 + CPL. WOW ~~ Vivid colors of blue, green and yellow!!!

Equipment: EOS 300 DATE + 24-105 @ 24 + RVP 100 + CPL

Taking this kind of photo is comparatively easy. All we need is a simple film camera, and a good weather. YEAH!!! As you may imagine, it is very difficult to have good weather with few dust in Hong Kong, and I'm so lucky that I get a good dauy. Thanks god.

Thanks for reading!

The importance of timing and location

Yet I like ken rockwell's passages a lot. Not because of his picture, it is because of his attitudes in photography. When we always struggle between SSWIS, SWIS, LB5, LB6, etc... it is VERY VERY easy for us to forget that we are a PHOTOGRAPHER, not an EQUIPMENT PLAYER!

Here is one of my shots, failed one. Even though it is not bad, but it is definitely far from the best.

This is the amazing moment of sunrise from the Tsing Ma Bridge, one of the landmark in Hong Kong. In order to take this picture, you need not great equipments. I used only an old EOS 300 DATE + 24-105L @ 35mm, but it is no difference. The key is the film, it can help to show vivid colors that cannot be shown in this screen (I'll take more about film later).

LOCATION is important. You may try the trunks in the bottom of the photos right? It is because I have not enough time to run down to the beach and get the best position for taking this photo.

TIMING is important. The only time that you can take this picture is sunrise. Simple HUH?

It is COMMON SENSE that no equipments will help to solve the 2 problems mentioned above. Say "Goodbye" to equipment player stage and go to a real photographer!

Camera, everything is about camera and photohraphy, and me, of cox :D

Yet this blog contains everything about camera, typically Film SLR, Digital SLR, RF, oldies, and some other accessories, equipments, or even different rumors. WAHA!

I have no expensive gears, and I'm not canon fans, even though I buy most canon cameras

Rule of thumb, good picture is from the photographer, not the gear or the lens

PS. for those who are interested, still have to say,...
EOS 450D + 24-105L is my favorite setting
EOS300 DATE + 24-105L for scenary stuff with RVP
Sigma 50.4 for portrait
